Fred Oroke, Economic
& Investment Strategist,
The Hague, Netherlands.

These
plans were made for
DeltaState and the people
of Nigeria’s Niger Delta region.
At the moment a lot of money is being
made off this region, yet the people living and working in this region
live in houseboats and some unimaginable conditions.
Therefore it would
be a great idea to make islands like this, with urban settlements, dwellings,
shopping malls, industries etc.
In this way the mone from the oil
industry
will be partly invested on the locals and the region.

Short Curriculum Vitae of
Fred Oroke (Ezra Consulting)
Fred Oroke was born on 12
February 1972 in Nigeria’s Niger Delta city of Warri, situated in Delta
State, Nigeria. Fred Oroke
developed a unique passion for societal progress and development since
sixteen years of age. He
studied Marketing and International Management at The Hague University,
from 1994 to 1998, after being
offered the opportunity to follow the study path of his dreams in the
Netherlands. Fascinated by the
beauty and degree of economic & infrastructural developments of the
Netherlands, Fred Oroke began
to diligently observe and study the development processes of Western
Economies (with specific
emphasis in the Netherlands). Mr. Oroke gained his first professional
(career) exposure in 1997 –
1998 at the ING Bank head office in Amsterdam. His experience was
consolidated by further
advancement of his career as Mid Office Manager at the In-House Bank of
Royal Numico (Nutricia) from
2000 to 2001 and as an Investment Strategist at Mn Services (Asset
Management) from 2001 to 2004.
In 2004 Fred Oroke resigned his
position at Mn Services in order to focus on his long desired passion
(contribution to the
development processes of emerging markets). This decision was also
hastened by
the growing interest of
Nigeria’s Delta State Government to work together with Fred Oroke/Ezra
Consulting. Although
developments did not materialize in Nigeria, as anticipated by Fred
Oroke,
dedicated efforts of the past
four years has resulted into increased awareness on the need for
Nigerian
leaders to promote Public &
Private Sector Partnerships, as well as create conducive investment
environments. Fred Oroke also
pioneers a Netherlands based NGO (Stichting Passion4Africa) that
focuses on Social and
sustainable Economic Development of African countries.
