These plans were made for DeltaState and the people of Nigeria’s Niger Delta region. At the moment a lot of money is being made off this region, yet the people living and working in this region live in houseboats and some unimaginable conditions. Therefore it would be a great idea to make islands like this, with urban settlements, dwellings, shopping malls, industries etc. In this way the money from the oil industry will be partly invested on the locals and the region.
